To gain access to the Under Dash wiring, you must remove this Under Dash Panel. To do that remove the (2) Philip Head Screws on each lower corner of this panel and pull off.

After removing the (2) Screws, the top of this panel is snapped into place, pull from the top and the panel will pull off.

With the Under Dash panel removed, you can now see the Knee Bolster AirBag, remove the (5) 10mm bolts that hold this AirBag in place but do not remove this panel yet.

Before you can remove the Knee Bolster AirBag, remove the (3) screws that hold this panel in place, and remove it.

With the (3) screws removed, pull down on this Lower cover to remove.

With the Lower Steering Column cover removed, you can now get to the Ignition wires and Transponder Ring on the Ignition Switch.

This shows the 791's TRANSPONDER LOOP ANTENNA in place around the Ignition Switch Tumbler when bypassing the Transponder System on this vehicle.

With all of the Under Dash panels removed, you can now lift up on this Knee Bolster AirBag and set it on the floor of the Vehicle, DO NOT UNPLUG the AIR BAG's YELLOW PLUG, keep the AirBag Plugged in!!!!

To gain access to the Ignition Switch Harness wires and the Transponder Anti-Theft System, you will need to remove the Lower Steering Column cover, to do this remove the (3) Philip's Head screws in this Lower cover.

This shows the Transponder Anti-Theft System Antenna built around the Ignition Swicth tumbler on this Vehicle, a 791 Transponder Bypass Module will be required.

This shows the (-) thru a 180 Ohm Resistor on the PURPLE/BROWN STARTER 2 wire, with the 180 Ohm Resistor Installed, this will also require a 775 Relay to finish the connection to the Remote Starter See DIAGRAM.

The 1-Wire Door Lock wire, PURPLE/GREEN, is shown is this picture with the (2) Resistors, (2000 and 5200 Ohm) connected. This PURPLE/GREEN wire is in Plug #2 of the BCM, the PURPLE/GREEN wire is approx. 20 Gauge.
