|
NOTE #1: This vehicle is equipped with a Special Anti-theft key, to remote start you will need a
Bypass module 791,(use this module IF you have a extra ignition key to place inside
the 791 to remote start, if you do not have an extra key to use or wish not to have a
key placed inside this bypass module, we OFFER a KEYLESS INTERFACE BYPASS
MODULE that does not require a key to be placed inside the bypass modlue, this is
Part # PKALL or PKFM, either one will work, to order, go to the INTERFACE BYPASS
MODULE PAGE on this website.
NOTE #2: The GEM (Generic Electronic Module) is located behind the Center Console on the
floor. Remove the BLACK panel to the right of the Gas Pedal, the carpet covers this
panel, the plugs face the drivers side of the vehicle.
NOTE #3: This vehicle uses a 1-Wire Door Locking System, LOCK requires a (-)Negative thru a
1000 Ohm Resistor and UNLOCK requires a straight (-)Negative, some units will also
require 2 extra relays part #775, to connect, See DIAGRAM
NOTE #4: This wire rests at GROUND when the door is closed and it is an OPEN circuit when the
door is open, you must use a relay part #775 and break, Use this wire for
DOMELIGHT SUPERVISION, to connect, See DIAGRAM
NOTE #5: The TACH wire on the ZETEC Engine is a GREEN/PURPLE or GREEN/WHITE at the Coil
Pack. On the DURATEC Engine there is a Coil at each cylinder, use a wire that is NOT
WHITE/PURPLE at one of the coils.
