NOTE #1: this vehicle is equipped with CHRYSLER'S ANTI-THEFT TRANSPONDER System, that will require a 791 bypass module and an extra key for operation or the XK09 Bypass Module that does not require a key for operation to order go to the INTERFACE BYPASS MODULE PAGE on this website. NOTE #2: the PARKING LIGHTS on this vehicleRequire an extra relay part #775 and a (-) Negative thru a 47 Ohm Resistor, See DIAGRAM NOTE #3: the DOOR LOCKS on this vehicle require a (+)Positive thru a 2700 Ohm resistor to Lock and a (+)Positive thru a 620 Ohm resistor to Unlock, some units will also require 2 extra relays part #775 for the keyless entry feature to work, See DIAGRAMS. You can also get a INTERFACE BYPASS MODULE the Part # XK09 that will do this for you without adding extra relays and resistors, these Modules will also do dome light supervision and trunk pop with nothing needed, to order please go to the INTERFACE BYPASS MODULE Page on this website NOTE #4: The BCM (Body Control Module) is located under the left side of the dash, attached to the JUNCTION BLOCK, the plugs on the BCM face the firewall. Show Large Image This picture show the Side Dash Panel and Lower Dash panel that must be removed to gain access to the under dash wiring on this vehicle. Show Large Image This picture shows the CHR-4 T-HARNESS Plugged into the Under Dash Side of the FACTORY IGNITION SWITCH Harness from the vehicle. Show Large Image to gain access to the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS Plug you will need to remove the Tilt Wheel Lever and the Lower Steering Column Cover. Show Large Image The Tilt Wheel Lever is held in place by a screw that can be removed from the back of this lever. Show Large Image To remove the Under Dash Panel you will first need to remove this side panel and then remove the (2) screws that hold the edge of the under dash panel in place. Show Large Image The IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS is seen in this picture plugged into the Ignition Switch Harness Plug on the LOWER LEFTHAND SIDE of the Steering Column. The Steering Columns Lower cover must be removed to gain access to the Ignition Switch Harness and Plug. Show Large Image In this picture the FACTORY IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS is UNPLUGGED from the Ignition Switch on the Steering Column. This Harness needs only to be Unplugged if you are Installing a CHR-4 T-HARNESS when installing a Remote Starter.
