NOTES
|
NOTE #1: this vehicle requires a Special Circuit to Crank the vehicle and turn on the Accessories
that requires (2) Relays and (2) Resistors, Starter #2 requires a (-)Negative thru a
180 Ohm Resistor and Accessory requires a (-)Negative thru a 610 Ohm Resistor to
connect this circuit up See DIAGRAM . This vehicle has transponder type anti-theft that must be bypassed for remote starting, use a #791 bypass module . An extra key that starts the vehicle is required to be left inside the bypass to supply the code.........SPECIAL NOTE.................you can now
get a INTERFACE BYPASS MODULE Part # DBALL2 or XK09 that will BYPASS the ANTI -THEFT SYSTEM and BYPASS the need for the above resistors and relays, it will also
bypass the need for the resistors on the door locks, the interface will replace a #791 bypass and need for a key to leave in the bypass. To order, CALL Tech Support at 800 561 1110 ex. 2146, 9AM to 5PM eastern time, M-F.
NOTE #2: This vehicle uses a 1-Wire Door Locking System, a (-)Negative thru a 330 Ohm
Resistor LOCKS and a (-)Negative thru a 100 Ohm Resistor UNLOCKS. 2 Extra
Relays may be required, See DIAGRAM. There is a INTERFACE BYPASS available that
will let you do the DOOR LOCKS without adding the RELAYS and RESISTORS
See NOTE #1
NOTE #3: This vehicle uses 4 door triggers, the DRIVERS DOOR is a PURPLE (-) in a WHITE
Plug, Pin 3, the PASSENGERS DOOR is a PURPLE/WHITE (-) in a WHITE Plug, Pin 3,
the DRIVERS SIDE REAR DOOR is a PURPLE/GRAY (-) in a GRAY 26 Pin plug, Pin 10
and the PASSENGERS SIDE REAR DOOR is a PURPLE/YELLOW (-) in a GRAY 26 Pin
Plug, Pin 9, when connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM use all 4 wires and DIODE
ISOLATE. These wire are located in each kick panel or behind the instrument cluster.
See DIAGRAM
NOTE #4: to turn on the parking Lights on this vehicle will require a (-) Negative thru a 1670
Ohm and may also require a #775 Relay, to connect See DIAGRAM
