NOTE #1: This vehicle may be equipped with CHRYSLER'S ANTI-THEFT TRANSPONDER System (GRAY IGNITION KEY), if so to remote start will require the 791 BYPASS MODULE and an extra Ignition key, to order go to the SECURITY BYPASS MODULE PAGE on this website. NOTE #2: the (-) Negative PARKING LIGHTS on this vehicle will require a (-)Negative thru a 330 or 1400 Ohm Resistor and an extra Relay part #775, to connect, See DIAGRAM NOTE #3; the Door Locking System is a 1-Wire, to LOCK requires a (-)Negative thru a 820 Ohm Resistor and to UNLOCK requires a (-)Negative thru a 330 Ohm Resistor, some units require 2 extra relays part #775, to connect, See DIAGRAM NOTE #4; the DRIVERS DOOR is a TAN (-), the DRIVERS REAR DOOR is a TAN/ORANGE (-) or a PURPLE/ORANGE (-), these wires are in the DRIVERS KICK PANEL. The PASSENGE DOOR is a TAN/RED (-) and the PASSENGER REAR DOOR is a TAN/YELLOW (-), these wires are in the PASSENGER KICK PANEL. When connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM, use all 4 DOOR TRIGGER wires and DIODE ISOLATE. to connect, See DIAGRAM NOTE #5: use the BLUE 16 Gauge wire as IGNITION #1, DO NOT use the HEAVY GAUGE BLUE wire for IGNITION #1. The Ignition #2 wire, RED/WHITE, is also 16 Gauge, there will be (2) RED/WHITE wires of the same gauge in the Ignition Switch Harness, one wire will test 12 Volts constant all the time and the other will test as Ignition #2, only use the wires that tests like an Ignition wire. NOTE #6: When connecting to a Remote Starter, connect the Accessory wire from the unit to both the GREEN (+) Accessory #1 wire (Large Gauge wire) and the ORANGE (+) Accessory #2 wire (16 Gauge wire) in the Ignition Switch Harness. NOTE #7; the DIESEL tach wire is a GRAY/BLACK in the BLACK plug at the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) NOTE #8: the DISARM wire requires a (-) Negative thru a 480 Ohm Resistor and an extra relay part #775, to connect, See DIAGRAM

Show Large Image With the (2) Screws at the bottom of this panel removed, you can pull out on this panel it is snapped into place at each corner. Show Large Image To get to the Parking Light wire at the Headlight switch you must first remove this Side Panel cover is in just snapped into place. Show Large Image To access the Under Dash wiring on this vehicle you will first need to remove this Plastic Underdash panel, it is held into place by (2) #15 Torx Screws on each end of this panel. Show Large Image This picture shows the Under Dash Panel removed, this exposes the under dash wiring and the Ignition Switch Harness as it exits the Steering Column of the vehicle. The Ignition Switch Harness in this picture is the Large Harness with the Heavy gauge wires Show Large Image This is the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS Plug that is attached to the Ignition Switch Plug on the Left hand side of the Steering Column in this vehicle. This Plug contains all of the Ignition wires need for the installation of the Remote Starter Module. Show Large Image This picture shows the BRAKE Switch that is attached to the Brake Pedal under the dash. The (+) WHITE/TAN BRAKE wire is marked with the RED Clip at the Brake Switch in a Black Plug. Show Large Image The (-) BLACK/RED HORN wire, marked with the RED Clip in this picture is located in a Harness exiting the Steering Column, this harness is wrapped in Black Electrical tape. Show Large Image With the Side Panel removed, you will next need to remove the panel just below the Headlight Switch, remove the (2) Philips Head screws that holds this panel in place, pull on this panel and the (2) snaps at the top of the panel will release. Show Large Image This shows the panel just below the Headlight Switch being removed, as stated with the 2 screws removed this panel is snapped in at the top and will just pull off. Show Large Image After the lower panel is removed, you can now pull on the Headlight Switch assembly, it also is just snapped into place. Show Large Image With the Headlight Switch lowered you can now see the Headlight Switch Harness Plug that is connected to the back of the Headlight Switch, this harness will contain the Parking Light wire. Show Large Image This picture shows the (-) PURPLE/YELLOW PARKING LIGHT wire, marked with the RED Clip in this picture. Show Large Image On this vehicle the (-) PURPLE/YELLOW PARKING LIGHT wire requires a GROUND or NEGATIVE through a 250 Ohm Resistor. This picture shows how this is connected to the Parking Light wire at the back of the Headlight Switch. Show Large Image After the 250 Ohm Resistor is connected to the Parking Light wire at the Back of the Headlight Switch, you can test the Parking Lights by touching the wire connected to the Resistor to a good BODY GROUND, this should turn the parking Lights ON. Show Large Image To gain access to the Drivers Door Harness, located in the Drivers Kick Panel, you will first need to remove the DRIVERS DOOR SILL Cover, this cover is just snapped into place. Show Large Image With the Kick Panel and Door Sill cover removed, you can now get to the Drivers Door Harness, this harness enters the vehicle thru the Boot between the Drivers door and the "A" Piller, and runs down along the Drivers Kick Panel and towards the Rear of the Show Large Image This is a picture of the (-) WHITE/GREEN DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK wire, marked with the RED Clip. This wire is located in the Drivers Door Harness in the Drivers Kick Panel. Show Large Image After locating and testing the Door Lock/Unlock wire in this vehicle, you will need to add (2) Resistors, the Lock requires an 820 Ohm resistor and to Unlock requires a 330 Ohm Resistor. You can then tie both of the Resistors to the Lock/Unlock wire in th Show Large Image After adding the Resistors for the Lock and Unlock, you can test these connections by taking each Resistor wire and touching them to a Good BODY GROUND one at a time, if all is connected well, the doors should Lock and Unlock. Show Large Image After testing and making the connections to the DOOR LOCK and UNLOCK wires and also the PARKING LIGHT wire, make sure you wrap all connections with Electrical tape, including the Resistors, so that no wires are exposed as seen in this picture. Show Large Image To get to the DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION wire, you will need to remove the "A" Piller or Windshield Piller cover on this vehicle. To remove this cover locate the (2) 10mm Bolt hidden behind these plugs and remove these screws, this Piller cover will then just Show Large Image This shows the "A"Piller or Windshield cover lowered. Show Large Image With the Piller cover removed, you can now see the Plug that will contain the DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION wire in this picture. Show Large Image The (-) BROWN DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION wire, marked with the RED Clip in this picture is located in the WHITE plug under the "A"Piller or windshield piller cover. This Dome Light Supervision wire can also be used as the DOOR TRIGGER wire when connecting to Show Large Image When putting the "A"Piller cover back on the vehicle, you will need to pull off the Weather stripping around the door and re-set it so that it lies flush around the Plastic of the Piller cover and the Drivers door sill.
