NOTE #1: This vehicle is equipped with a Special Anti-theft key, to remote start you will need a
Bypass module 791,(use this module IF you have a extra ignition key to place inside
the 791 to remote start, if you do not have an extra key to use or wish not to have a
key placed inside this bypass module, we OFFER a KEYLESS INTERFACE BYPASS
MODULE that does not require a key to be placed inside the bypass modlue, this is
Part # PKALL or PKFM, either one will work, to order, go to the INTERFACE BYPASS
MODULE PAGE on this website.
NOTE #2: The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is located at the TOP of the FIREWALL
towards the PASSENGER SIDE of vehicle.
NOTE #3: This vehicle uses 4 door triggers, the DRIVERS DOOR is a YELLOW/BLACK (-) in the
DRIVERS DOOR HARNESS, the DRIVERS REAR DOOR is a LIGHT GREEN/YELLOW (-)
in the Drivers kick panel. The PASSENGER DOOR is a GREY/RED (-) in the Passenger
kick panel, and the PASSENGER REAR DOOR is a PINK/LIGHT BLUE (-) in the
Passenger Kick panel. When connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM use all 4 DOOR
TRIGGER wires and DIODE ISOLATE, to connect, See DIAGRAM
NOTE #4: On some vehicle with FACTORY ALARM or KEYLESS ENTRY, after the vehicle sets
for a few minutes, if you cannot UNLOCK the door with the AFTERMARKET remote
control it will be necessary to WAKE UP the GEM Module. See DIAGRAM under DOOR
UNLOCK, GEM WAKE UP DIAGRAM. IF the vehicle DOES NOT HAVE a FACTORY
KEYLESS ENTRY or FACTORY ALARM it is a TYPE C Door Locking System.
NOTE #5: Vehicles with KEYLESS ENTRY are TYPE B, Vehicles without KEYLESS ENTRY are TYPE C.
