With the cable out of its holder, press on the cable holder barrel in the handle with a screw driver and the cable will pop out of the handle.

With the Under Dash panel removed, you will next need to remove this BLACK Metal Knee Bolster, it is held into place by (5) 10mm Bolts.

With the Metal Knee Bolster removed you can now get to all under dash wiring.

With this panel lowered, unplug the WHITE Plug in the back of the Dimmer switch and you will also need to remove the Hood Release Cable before you can complete the removal of this panel.

To get to the IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS plug and Anti-theft Transponder System, you will need to remove the Lower Steering Column Cover.

To remove the Column cover first, remove this Philip's Head screw on the Left side of the column, rotate the wheel to expose this screw.

Next remove this Philip's head screw on the Right side of the column.

With both screws removed from this column cover, seperate the Upper and Lower covers (covers are a Clamshell type), and pull the Lower cover off.

With the Lower column cover removed, you can now gain access to the wires of the Steering column.

The IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS Plug (WHITE), is plugged into the Ignition Switch at the BACK and BOTTOM.

The (+) GREEN/WHITE BRAKE wire, marked with the RED Clip, is located in the BLUE Plug at the Brake Switch attached to the top of the Brake Pedal under the dash.
