NOTE #1: THIS VEHICLE REQUIRES A SPECIAL INTERFACE BYPASS MODULE TO REMOTE START, PART # DBALL2 or XK09 THESE INTERFACES WILL ALSO DO THE KEYLESS ENTRY Part # 779, ignition delay circuit is needed when installing an RS82, RS1100, or RS1200 and a DBALL2 or XK09 interface in a GM vehicle that has no starter/ crank wire coming from the ignition switch. TO ORDER PLEASE Call 800 561 1110 ex. 2146
NOTE #2: the BCM (Body Control Module) is part of the FUSE/RELAY BOX , on the FRONT PASSENGER SIDE of the CENTER CONSOLE, the connectors are: C1-72pin GRAY Plug, C2-72pin GRAY Plug, C3-41pin RED Plug, and C4-68pin LIGHT GRAY Plug.
NOTE #3: the DRIVERS DOOR is a GRAY/BLACK (-) PIN 51, the PASSENGER DOOR is a TAN/WHITE (-) PIN 72, the DRIVERS REAR DOOR is a LIGHT BLUE/BLACK (-) PIN 54 and the PASSENGER REAR DOOR is a LIGHT GREEN/BLACK (-) PIN 53. When connecting to an ALARM SYSTEM, use all (4) DOOR TRIGGER wires and DIODE ISOLATE, to connect, See DIAGRAM
NOTE #4: on the 2.2L engine, use the WHITE or ORANGE wire, on the 3.5L 6-Cylinder engine, use the PURPLE, ORANGE/WHITE or LIGHT BLUE.
NOTE #5: this vehicle uses a 1-Wire DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM that requires a (-)Negative thru a 1500 Ohm Resistor to UNLOCK and a straight (-)Negative to LOCK, some units will also require (2) extra relays Part #775, to connect, See DIAGRAM

This picture shows the UNDER DASH Panel on this vehicle, all though there will be no wires found under this panel it must be removed, this will be the location of the Remote Starter when installed.

First remove the Bottom BLACK panel, that is lowered in this picture, it is held in place by (2) 7mm screws.

To remove the LOWER DASH PANEL you will need to remove the SIDE Cover of the dash (it just pulls off) to remove the (2) 7mm screws there and the (2) from under the dash.

With the LOWER DASH PANEL removed, you can now remove the (4) 7mm scres holding the METAL KNEE BOLSTER in place.

Most of these vehicles come with GM's PASSKEY 3 Anti-Theft System, which is a TRANSPONDER System, this System will have a Factory Antenna placed around the Ignition Switch Tumbler, if this is the case, you will need to the 791 Bypass Module to get around

This vehicle is a Fleet Vehicle and DOES NOT have PK3 System, if it did, and MOST VEHICLES DO, you would need to remove this IGNITION SWITCH Cover (it just pops off) and place the 791's TRANSPONDER LOOP ANTENNA around the IGNITION SWITCH TUMBLER in this v

This picture shows the BCM or FUSEBOX Cover at the Front of the Passenger Center Console. This cover just snaps off. ALL of the wires needed for the Installation of a REMOTE STARTER, KEYLESS ENTRY or any other accessory will be wired in behind this panel.

This picture shows the BCM Plugs marked with the IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS (C1 and C2) on the BLUE Plug Covers. The RED Plug C3 (BLACK Plug Cover) is not numbered and the C4 Plug is located on the FRONT of the BCM and cannot be seen, but you can see the wire

This shows the (+) WHITE BRAKE wire in the C1 Plug on the BCM, marked with the RED Clip, as seen in this picture, there are several WHITE wires in this plug, the BRAKE wire is a little heavier than all of the other WHITE wires in the harness.

The (-) GRAY DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION wire is in the C3 RED Plug and is marked with the RED Clip in this picture, it is a smaller gauge wire and as you can see there are several GRAY wires in this plug, you will need to test for the correct DOME LIGHT SUPER

The (-) TAN HORN wire is in the C2 Plug and is marked with the RED Clip in this picture, it is a smaller gauge wire and as you can see there are several TAN wires in this plug, you will need to test for the correct HORN wire.
