GM's PASSLOCK 2 System, these wires exit the Ignition Switch Tumbler together and are in the Main Ignition Switch Harness in the Column.

With the Dash Bezel loosened, the Under Dash panel will snap off and can then be removed.

To access the Under Dash wiring of this vehicle, you will first need to remove this Under Dash Panel, it is held in place at the bottom at each corner by (2) 7mm screws. Remove these screws, then above this panel, pull out on the ends of the Dash Bezel on

With the Under Dash Panel removed, you can now see the Metal Knee Bolster that is under the Steering Column, this Metal pan is held into place with (4) 10mm nuts, (2) on each side, remove them and this Metal pan will pull off.

With the Metal Knee Bolster pan removed you can see get to the Ignition Harness wires, but you will first need to remove the Black Nylon wrap around these wires and remove the Lower Steering Column cover.

The Lower Steering Column cover will need to be removed to gain access to the Ignition Switch Harness and PassLock II wires.

To remove the Lower Column cover, you will need to remove the Tilt Wheel Lever, use a pair of plyers to grab ahold of the Lever, so that is does not get mared, place a piece of cloth in the jaws of the plyers.

Grab ahold of the Tilt Lever and pull out, the Lever will pull out of the column fairly easy.

With the Tilt Wheel Lever removed, you can now unsnap the Clamshell Column covers from each other, the Upper cover will stay in place, Lower the Bottom cover away and remove.

With the Lower Steering Column cover removed, you can now start to Identify the Ignition wires and PassLock II wires exiting the Ignition Switch.

This picture shows the (3) PASSLOCK II wires (marked with the RED Clip) as they exit the IGNITION SWITCH TUMBLER. Of these (3) wires, the RED/WHITE wire is NOT USED!!. The YELLOW is the (+) PASSLOCK signal wire or the wire that shows 1 to 6 volts DC on a

The Male End of this GM-12 T-HARNESS, plugs into the Ignition Switch of this vehicle.

The Female End of the GM-12 T-HARNESS will plug into the Vehicle's Ignition Harness that was unplugged from the Ignition Switch of the vehicle.

This is a picture of the GM-12 T-HARNESS, make sure the T-Harness you recieved looks like this harness. The GM-12 T-Harness plugs into the Ignition Switch in the Steering column of this vehicle.
