Broken clutch finger

Worn clutch fingers

Primary shaft teeth worn at one side

Possible cause:

  • Heavy rotating bearing
  • No clutch bearing play

Possible cause:

  • Pilot bearing broken
  • Engine and gearbox are not aligned

Tilting bolt broken

Clutch plate bent, clutch disc facing burned

Possible cause:

  • Engine vibration dampers broken
  • No clutch bearing play
  • Wrong engine adjustment

  • Overheated clutch
  • The engine was overloaded directly after fitting the clutch

Finger shaft run-out

One side broken clutch

Possible cause:

  • Gearbox was lowered

Pressure plate broken

Segment springs broken

Possible cause:

  • Overheated due to excessive slipping
  • Excessive slipping due to a worn-out clutch disc
  • Badly functioning clutch control
  • Slave cylinder broken
  • Too much grease on the clutch disc

Possible cause:

  • Pilot bearing broken or missing
  • Engine and gearbox not aligned
  • Gearbox was lowered

Clutch cover bent

Disc facing separated

  • No torque wrench used
  • Not centered

  • Overrunning

  • Too much grease on the surface
  • Clutch control does not operate properly
  • False grinding of flywheel
