Glove Box Removal/Installation
SRS components are located in this area.

precautions and procedures in the SRS section before performing repairs or service.
NOTE:
- Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
- LHD is shown; RHD is symmetrical.
| 1. | Detach the hook (A) of the glove box damper (B), and remove the screws.
 Fastener Locations: Screw, 2AB5 x 0.8 mm
5 N·m (0.5 kgf·m, 4 lbf·ft) |
| 2. | While holding the glove box (A), release the glove box stop portion (B) on each side from the dashboard by pushing it inside, then remove the glove box.

| 3. | From outside of the passenger's door, gently pull out on the front of the dashboard side cover (A) to release the hooks (B), to remove the cover.

| 4. | Remove the screw, then remove the glove box damper (A).
 Fastener Location: Screw, 15 x 0.8 mmA |
| 5. | Install the glove box in the reverse order of removal.
