DTC Troubleshooting: B1305
| DTC B1305: | Rain Sensor Lost Communication with Relay Control Module |
| 1. | Clear the DTCs using the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. |
| 2. | Check the DTCs by selecting the DTCs MENU (DTCs) from the Honda PGM Tester or the HDS. Is DTC B1005 or B1158 indicated? YES - Substitute a known-good relay module (under-hood fuse/relay box) and recheck. If the symptom goes away, replace the original under-hood fuse/relay box.n NO - Go to 3. |
| 3. | Disconnect the rain sensor 5P connector. |
| 4. | Check for continuity between the rain sensor 5P connector No. 3 terminal and body ground. RAIN SENSOR 5P CONNECTORWire side of female terminalsBLKIs there continuity? YES - Replase the rain sensor.n NO - Repair an open in the BLK wire or poor ground (LHD: G501, RHD: G601).n |
