Water Outlet/EGR Passage Replacement

1.	Drain the engine coolant.

2.	Remove the two bolts (A) securing the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve bracket and remove the bolt (B) securing the harness bracket. B 6 x 1.0 mm 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 8.7 lbf·ft)A 8 x 1.25 mm 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 lbf·ft)

3.	Remove the upper radiator hose (A), heater hose (B), water bypass hose (C) and connecting pipe mounting bolt (D). ABCD 8 x 1.25 mm 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 lbf·ft)

4.	Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve connector (K20A6 engine).

5.	Remove the water outlet/EGR passage (A). AB8 x 1.25 mm 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m, 16 lbf·ft)

6.	Install the water outlet/EGR passage with a new gasket (B).

7.	Install the other parts in the reverse order of removal.

8.	Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed air from the cooling system with the heater valve open.
