Trunk Lid Opener Cable/Fuel Fill Door Opener Cable Replacement

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the body and related parts.
| 1. | Remove these items form the left side of the vehicle:

| 2. | Pull the carpet back as necessary. |
| 3. | Disconnect the trunk lid opener/fuel fill door opener cable (A) from the opener (B) LHD:  Fastener Locations: Clip, 1C: Cushion tape, 3DBACDDDRHD:  Fastener Locations: Clip, 1C: Clip, 1D: Cushion tape, 6EBCADEEEEEE |
| 4. | LHD: Release the opener cable from the clip (C). Remove the cushion tape (D). RHD: Release the opener cable from the clip (C, D). Remove the cushion tape (E). |
| 5. | Remove the fuel fill door latch (A) by turning it 90°, and detach the opener cable junction box (B) from the body. Fastener Locations: ClipELHD, 1: ClipFLHD, 1RHD, 2ADE, FCBF |
| 6. | Disconnect the trunk lid opener cable (C) from the trunk lid latch (D). |
| 7. | Using a clip remover. Release the trunk lid opener/fuel fill door opener cable from the clips (E, F). |
| 8. | Remove the trunk lid opener/fuel fill door opener cable from the vehicle. Take care not to bend the cable. |
| 9. | Install the opener cable in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
