EPS Control Unit Replacement

EPS Control Unit Replacement

NOTE: The EPS control unit is located in the center of the dashboard.

1.Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2.Remove the driver's instrument under panel.

3.Remove the motor relay (A), and disconnect the 4P connector.

4.Remove the EPS control unit (B), and disconnect the EPS control unit connectors.

5.Install the EPS control unit in the reverse order of removal.

6.After installation, start the engine, and let it idle. Turn the steering wheel from lock-to-lock several times. Check that the EPS indicator does not come on.
