NOTICE:
  1. Use the same procedure for the driver side of RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the driver side of an LHD vehicle.



1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH (for Manual Seat)

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE LH (for 6 Way Seat Type)

  1. Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.



4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Manual Seat)

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Disengage the 11 claws and clip, and remove the front seat cushion shield.



5. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Manual Seat)

  1. Separate the wire harness from the 2 hooks.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw and seat position airbag sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

  1. Remove the seat position airbag sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.



6. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Power Seat)

  1. Separate the wire harness from the 2 hooks.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw, nut and seat position airbag sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

  1. Remove the seat position airbag sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
