  1. Use the following procedure to troubleshoot the pre-crash system.
  2. The intelligent tester should be used in steps 3, 4 and 6.



1.VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

    2.INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE
    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

    2. Standard voltage:
      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

    CHARGE OR REPLACE AUXILIARY BATTERY
    OK


    3.CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
    1. Use the intelligent tester to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally (Click here).

      Result:

    4.CHECK FOR DTC
    1. Check for DTCs (Click here).

      1. Record the DTCs.

    2. Clear the DTCs.

    3. Recheck for DTCs.

      1. Attempt to duplicate the malfunction and check if the DTCs are output again (Click here).
