1. INSTALL HYBRID BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

  1. Install the hybrid battery junction block assembly with the 3 nuts.

    Torque:
    7.5 N*m{ 76 kgf*cm , 66 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the 2 connectors to the hybrid battery junction block assembly.

    NOTICE:
    The connectors should be connected securely.

  1. Connect the 2 connectors to the hybrid battery junction block assembly.



2. CONNECT FRAME WIRE

CAUTION:
Wear insulated gloves.

  1. Install the frame wire on the hybrid battery junction block with the 2 nuts.

    Torque:
    9.0 N*m{ 92 kgf*cm , 80 in.*lbf }

    NOTICE:
    1. Make sure that the ends of the frame wire are not crossed over each other.
    2. Be sure to connect the frame wires to the correct terminals.

  1. Connect the clamp and frame wire.



3. CHECK HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE CONNECTION

CAUTION:
Wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.



  1. Check that each wire harness is being installed securely.

    NOTICE:
    1. Make sure that the end of the frame wire are not crossed over each other.
    2. Be sure to connect the frame wire to the correct terminals as shown in the illustration.
    3. The connectors should be connected securely.
    4. The nuts should be fastened securely.
    5. Make sure that the 4 plastic covers are engaged securely.



4. INSTALL UPPER HYBRID BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the upper hybrid battery cover sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.

    Torque:
    7.5 N*m{ 76 kgf*cm , 66 in.*lbf }

  1. Install the battery cover lock striker, then push the button to lock.



5. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY EXHAUST DUCT

  1. Insert the No. 1 hybrid battery exhaust duct with the clip.

    NOTICE:
    Ensure that the duct is installed securely.



6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD SPACER

  1. Install the rear floor board spacer with the 2 clips.



7. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY SHIELD SHEET

  1. Align the edge of the tab of a new hybrid vehicle battery shield sheet with the edge of the hybrid battery cover sub-assembly, and then install the hybrid vehicle battery shield sheet with the double-sided tape.

  1. Overlap the hybrid vehicle battery shield sheet with the hybrid battery cover sheet, fold the edge as shown in the illustration, and secure it with the double-sided tape.

8. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH

HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side (Click here).



9. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side (Click here).



10. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH
(Click here)


11. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD

  1. Engage the 2 claws and 2 clips.

  1. Install the rear No. 1 floor board with the bolt.



12. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Engage the claw and 2 clips to install the rear No. 2 floor board sub-assembly.



13. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Engage the 2 claws and 2 clips to install the rear No. 1 floor board sub-assembly.



14. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Woofer)

  1. Engage the 6 guides.

  1. Install the deck floor box LH with the clip.



15. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/ Woofer)

  1. Engage the 2 clips and 3 guides to install the rear No. 4 floor board.



16. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/o Woofer)

  1. Install the rear No. 4 floor board.



17. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)

  1. Install the tonneau cover assembly.
