DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) receives switch signals from the door control switch and activates the door lock motor on each door according to these signals.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR CONTROL SWITCH)
  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

  1. Turn the intelligent tester on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Data List.

  1. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.

    Front passenger door control switch lock signal/ON or OFF
    ON: Lock side of front passenger door control switch pushed

    Front passenger door control switch unlock signal/ON or OFF
    ON: Unlock side of front passenger door control switch pushed
    OFF: Unlock side of front passenger door control switch not pushed
    -

    OK:
    The intelligent tester indicates ON or OFF according to the switch operation shown in the table.

2.INSPECT DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the door control switch (Click here).

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:

  1. Disconnect the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
