POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM > All Power Windows do not Operate with Driver Side Door Key Cylinder or Wireless Transmitter

DESCRIPTION

  1. When a key switch is pushed: 1) the door control receiver assembly receives the key signal; 2) the door control receiver assembly sends a signal to the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly); 3) the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the operation permission signal to the power window regulator motor assembly; and 4) the power window regulator motor assemblies are activated.
  2. When the driver door key cylinder (key linked switch) is turned: 1) the door lock motor receives the signal; 2) the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the signal to the power window regulator motor assembly; and 3) the power window regulator motor assemblies are activated.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
  1. This function is set through the customize function, as it is off by default.
  2. The power window control system uses a LIN communication system and CAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting (Click here). Troubleshoot the power window control system after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly.

1.CHECK BASIC FUNCTION (WIRELESS AND POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM)

  1. Check that the wireless transmitter (Click here) and driver door key cylinder (key linked switch) (Click here) lock and unlock all the doors normally.

2.CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION

  1. Check that the manual up and down functions using the multiplex network master switch assembly and power window regulator switch assembly can operate all the power windows (Click here).

    OK:
    Manual up and down functions are normal.
