DTC    P0575    Cruise Control Input Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This DTC indicates the internal abnormalities of the power management control ECU.

When both of the following conditions are met:
  1. STP signals input to the power management control ECU supervisory CPU and control ECU are different for 0.15 seconds or more
  2. 0.4 seconds have passed after cruise cancel input signal (STP input) is input to the power management control ECU

HINT:
The power management control ECU receives signals from each sensor to control all functions of the cruise control system. When a trouble code is detected, the fail-safe function activates and remains on until the power switch is turned off.


INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.READ OUTPUT DTC (P0575)
  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

  1. Turn the intelligent tester on.

  1. Clear the DTC (Click here).

  1. Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

    HINT:
    If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.

    1. Drive at a speed of between approximately 40 km/h (25 mph) and 200 km/h (125 mph).

    2. Turn the cruise control switch (ON-OFF button) on.

    3. Push the -/SET switch to activate the cruise control.

  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / DTC.

  1. Check for DTCs.
