Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

| 2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR |
Disconnect the radio receiver assembly and stereo component amplifier assembly connectors.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

| H51-7 (MUTE) - H55-1 (MUTE) | Always | Below 1 Ω |
| H51-7 (MUTE) - Body ground | Always | 10 kΩ or higher |

Reconnect the stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
