1. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS ADHESIVE DAM
  1. Apply Primer G to the installation part of the back door glass adhesive dam.

    HINT:
    If primer is applied to an area that is not specified, wipe off the primer with a non-residue solvent before it dries.

  1. Install 4 new back door glass adhesive dams onto the back door glass as shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL BACK WINDOW LOWER MOULDING
  1. Apply Primer G to the installation part of the back window lower moulding.

    HINT:
    If primer is applied to an area that is not specified, wipe off the primer with a non-residue solvent before it dries.

5. INSTALL NO. 1 BACK WINDOW GLASS SPACER
  1. Apply Primer G to the installation part of the No. 1 back window glass spacer.

    HINT:
    If primer is applied to an area that is not specified, wipe off the primer with a non-residue solvent before it dries.

7. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY


  1. Using a brush, coat the installation surface on the vehicle body with Primer M.

    1. Cut off the tip of the cartridge nozzle as shown in the illustration.

  1. Install the back door glass.

    1. Position the back door glass so that the matchmarks are aligned, and press it in gently along the rim (when glass without a clip is used).

    2. Lightly press the back door glass to ensure that the back door glass is securely fit to the vehicle body (when glass without a clip is used).

      HINT:
      Press the glass with a force of 98 N (10 kgf, 22 lbf) or more.

    4. Using suction cups, engage the 2 clips to install the back door glass (when glass with all clips is used).

      NOTICE:
      1. Check that the clips are attached to the vehicle body correctly.
      2. Check the clearance between the vehicle body and back door glass.

    5. Lightly press the front surface of the back door glass to ensure that the back door glass is securely fit to the vehicle body.

      HINT:
      Press the back door glass with a force of 98 N (10 kgf, 22 lbf) or more.

    7. Using a scraper, remove any excess or protruding adhesive.

      Apply adhesive onto the back door glass rim.

    8. Hold the back door glass using protective tape until applied adhesive becomes hard.

      NOTICE:
      Do not drive the vehicle within the time described in the table below.

  1. Engage the 2 clamps.

8. INSTALL REAR WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Wiper)

9. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY


  1. Install the 4 new clips to the rear spoiler sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  1. Engage the 4 clips and install the rear spoiler sub-assembly.

  1. Connect the connector.

  1. Install the 2 nuts and 2 bolts.

  1. Install the 2 hole plugs.



10. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BOARD ASSEMBLY

  1. Engage the 13 clips to install the back door trim board assembly.

    HINT:
    Engage the clips in the order shown in the illustration.

  1. Slide the handle plate of the back door trim board to engage it.



11. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH

  1. Engage the 2 clips, 2 claws and guide to install the back door side garnish LH.



12. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH

  1. Engage the 2 clips, 2 claws and guide to install the back door side garnish RH.



13. INSTALL UPPER BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

  1. Engage the 4 clips and 4 claws to install the upper back door trim panel assembly.



14. INSPECT FOR LEAK AND REPAIR
  1. After the adhesive has hardened, apply water from the outside of the vehicle. Check that no water leaks into the cabin.

  1. If water leaks into the cabin, allow the water to dry and add adhesive.

  1. Remove the protective tape.
