NOTICE:

After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click here).

1. Remove the rear No. 2 floor board.
   

1. Remove the rear deck floor box.
   

1. Remove the rear No. 3 floor board.
   

1. Remove the clip.
   

2. Disengage the 6 guides and remove the deck floor box RH.
   

1. Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides, and remove the rear floor board upper No. 3 plate.
   

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear door inside handle bezel plug as shown in the illustration.
   

1. Disengage the clip, 3 claws and 3 guides and remove the rear door rear frame bracket.
   

1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 clips, 4 claws and 2 guides as shown in the illustration.
   

2. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly with rear door armrest base panel.
   

1. Remove the rear door armrest cover.
   

1. Put protective tape around the rear door panel.

2. Remove the 2 screws.
   

3. Using a clip remover, disengage the 9 clips.
   

4. Pull out the rear door trim board sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow as shown in the illustration.
   

5. Raise the rear door trim board sub-assembly to remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly together with the rear door inner glass weatherstrip.
   

6. Disconnect the connector.
   

7. Disconnect the rear door lock remote control cable assembly and rear door inside locking cable assembly.
   

8. Remove the rear door trim board clip (blue) from the rear door trim board.
   

1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear door inner glass weatherstrip from the rear door trim board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

1. Disconnect the connector.
   

2. Remove the 3 bolts and rear door speaker cover.
   

1. Disconnect the connector.
   

2. Remove the 3 bolts and rear speaker assembly.
   

   NOTICE:

   Do not touch the speaker cone.

1. Remove the 2 screws and rear door trim bracket.
   

1. Disengage the clamp.
   

2. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear door service hole cover.
   

   HINT:

   Remove any remaining butyl tape from the door.

1. Remove the 3 bolts and rear door check assembly.
   

1. Using a clip remover, disengage the 23 clips and remove the rear door weatherstrip.

1. Remove the rear door glass run.
   

1. Remove the No. 1 rear door vent seal.
   

1. Loosen the temporary bolt.

2. Remove the bolt and screw and rear door window division bar sub-assembly.
   

   NOTICE:

   When the rear door window division bar sub-assembly is removed, do not allow the rear door quarter window glass to fall.

3. Remove the temporary bolt from the rear door window division bar sub-assembly.
   

1. Remove the rear door quarter window glass with the rear door quarter window weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.
   

2. Remove the rear door quarter window glass from the rear door quarter window weatherstrip.
   

1. Remove the rear door glass sub-assembly from the rear door window regulator sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
   

   NOTICE:

   Do not damage the door glass.

1. Put protective tape around the rear door belt moulding assembly.

2. Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 5 claws and guide to remove the rear door belt moulding assembly as shown in the illustration.
