1. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Measure the resistance between the connector terminal and the nut inside the parking brake switch assembly.

    Standard Resistance 
    Tester Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Terminal - Nut
    		On (When shaft is not pressed)
    		Below 1 Ω
    Terminal - Nut
    		Off (When shaft is pressed)
    		10 kΩ or higher
    If the value is not as specified, replace the parking brake switch assembly.
