| 1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER |
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Turn the intelligent tester on.
Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Active Test.
Check that the center console spot lights come on.

| 2.INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY |

Remove the map light assembly (Click here).
Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 21 (+B1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 5 (ILLB).
Check that the center console spot light (red) comes on.
Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 21 (+B1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 6 (ILLB).
Check that the center console spot light (blue) comes on.

| 3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU AND AUXILIARY BATTERY) |
Disconnect the T6 map light assembly connector.
Disconnect the H18 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

| T6-6 (ILLB) - Body ground | Always | 10 kΩ or higher |
| T6-5 (ILLB) - H18-6 (OSPT) | Always | Below 1 Ω |
| T6-5 (ILLB) - Body ground | Always | 10 kΩ or higher |
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
