| 1.CHECK PASSENGER AIRBAG ON/OFF INDICATOR CONDITION |
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Check the passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator operation.

| 2.CHECK CONNECTORS |
Turn the power switch off.
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
Check that the connectors are properly connected to the airbag sensor assembly and combination switch assembly.
Disconnect the connectors from the airbag sensor assembly and combination switch assembly.
Check that the terminals of the connectors are not damaged.

Connect the connector to the combination switch assembly.
Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Check the passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator operation.

| 4.CHECK AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY |

Turn the power switch off.
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
Connect the connector to the airbag sensor assembly.
Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
Clear the DTCs stored in memory (Click here).
Turn the power switch off.
Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
Check for DTCs (Click here).

| 5.CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE (OPEN) |
Turn the power switch off.

Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
Disconnect the connector from the combination switch assembly.
Using SST, connect terminals 23 (PAON) and 17 (P-AB) of connector B.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

| 9.CHECK CONNECTORS |
Turn the power switch off.

Turn the power switch on (IG).
Check the indicator according to the conditions in the table below.

Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.

Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
Check for DTCs (Click here).
