FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (for Power Seat) > REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
(Click here)


2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect each connector.

  1. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.

  1. Disengage the clamp.

  1. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.



3. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.



4. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

  1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.



5. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

  1. Disengage the claw and 2 guides, and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.



6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

  1. Separate the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  1. Disengage the 8 claws and guide (1).

  1. Disengage the clip and guide (2), and disconnect the front seat cushion shield.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and open the wire harness cover.

  1. Remove the wire harness from the wire harness cover.

  1. Disengage the 2 clamps.

  1. w/o Seat Position Memory System:

    1. Disconnect the connector and remove the front seat cushion shield.

  1. w/ Seat Position Memory System:

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the front seat cushion shield.



7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

  1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front seat inner cushion shield.



8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

  1. Disengage the fastener and separate the side airbag wire harness.



  1. w/ Seat Heater System:

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

    3. Disconnect the connector.

    4. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

  1. Disengage the 4 hooks.

  1. Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.



9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY)

  1. Remove the 2 hog rings.

  1. Remove the 21 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover (front seat cushion heater assembly) from the separate type front seat cushion pad.
