DESCRIPTION

This circuit sends a DVD image signal from the radio receiver assembly to the navigation computer sub-assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
  1. Disconnect the H50 radio receiver assembly connector.

  1. Disconnect the H61 navigation computer sub-assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection

    H50-8 (NTSC) - H61-9 (VV+)
    Always
    Below 1 Ω
    H50-22 (GND) - H61-20 (VV-)
    Always
    Below 1 Ω
    H50-8 (NTSC) - Body ground

    H50-22 (GND) - Body ground
    Always
    10 kΩ or higher
    H50-7 (SLD) - Body ground
    Always
    10 kΩ or higher

  1. Reconnect the H50 radio receiver assembly connector.

  1. Check the waveform according to the table below.

    HINT:
    The video waveform changes according to the image output from the radio receiver assembly to the navigation computer sub-assembly, but the synchronization signal does not change.
