SHIFT LEVER > INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION INSTRUMENT PANEL SHIFT ASSEMBLY

  1. Connect the 2 connectors to transmission instrument panel shift assembly.

  1. Install the transmission instrument panel shift assembly with the 3 nuts.

    Torque:
    12 N*m{ 122 kgf*cm , 9 ft.*lbf }



2. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX LH (for LHD)

  1. Engage the guide and 2 claws.

  1. Engage the 3 clips.

  1. Install the console box LH with the bolt <A> and clip.



3. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX RH (for RHD)

  1. Engage the guide and 2 claws.

  1. Engage the 3 clips.

  1. Install the console box RH with the bolt <A> and clip.



4. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX INSERT

  1. Engage the 2 claws and 2 clips to install the console box insert.



5. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  1. Engage the 8 guides.

  1. Install the rear console box assembly with the 4 bolts and 2 screws.



6. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX CARPET

  1. Install the console box carpet.



7. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX POCKET

  1. Install the rear console box pocket.



8. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

  1. Connect each connector.

  1. Engage the clamp.

  1. Engage the 2 guides and 6 claws to install the integration control and panel assembly.



9. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Connect each connector.

  1. Engage the clamp.

  1. Engage the 12 claws to install the upper console panel sub-assembly.

    NOTICE:
    When installing the upper console panel sub-assembly, make sure not to pinch the wire harness connected to the front end of the remote touch (w/ Navigation System).

  1. Close the console compartment door.



10. INSTALL UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH

  1. Engage the 3 guides, clip and 4 claws to install the upper No. 1 console panel garnish.



11. INSTALL UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH

  1. Engage the 2 guides, clip and 5 claws to install the upper No. 2 console panel garnish.



12. INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  1. Engage the 4 guides and 7 claws to install the lower center instrument panel finish panel.

  1. Close the glove compartment door.



13. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Turn the shift lever knob clockwise and install the shift lever knob sub-assembly.



14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).



15. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD UPPER NO. 3 PLATE

  1. Engage the 4 claws and 2 guides to install the rear floor board upper No. 3 plate.



16. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH

  1. Engage the 6 guides.

  1. Install the deck floor box RH with the clip.



17. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD

  1. Install the rear No. 3 floor board.



18. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX

  1. Install the rear deck floor box.



19. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD

  1. Install the rear No. 2 floor board.



20. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER

  1. Turn the power switch on (READY).

  1. Check that all available shift positions can be selected by moving the shift lever.

    HINT:
    After the transmission instrument panel shift assembly is replaced with a new one, perform the above operation. If this operation is not performed, moving the shift lever may not initially select shift positions.
