1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
  1. If the transmission instrument panel shift assembly is to be replaced with a new one, it is necessary to clear the learned shift sensor voltage values by disconnecting and reconnecting the cable of the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
  2. After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work (Click here).



2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD
  1. Remove the rear No. 2 floor board.



3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX
  1. Remove the rear deck floor box.



4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD
  1. Remove the rear No. 3 floor board.



5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Disengage the 6 guides and remove the deck floor box RH.



6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD UPPER NO. 3 PLATE

  1. Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides, and remove the rear floor board upper No. 3 plate.



7. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).



8. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Turn the shift lever knob counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.



9. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL
  1. Open the glove compartment door.

  1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 7 claws and 4 guides, and remove the lower center instrument panel finish panel as shown in the illustration.



10. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH

  1. Disengage the 5 claws, clip and 2 guides, and remove the upper No. 2 console panel garnish.



11. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH

  1. Disengage the 4 claws, clip and 3 guides, and remove the upper No. 1 console panel garnish.



12. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
  1. Open the console compartment door.

  1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 12 claws.

  1. Disengage the clamp.

  1. Disconnect each connector and remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.



13. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

  1. Disengage the 6 claws and 2 guides.

  1. Disengage the clamp.

  1. Disconnect each connector and remove the integration control and panel assembly.



14. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX POCKET

  1. Remove the rear console box pocket.



15. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET

  1. Remove the console box carpet.



16. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 screws and 4 bolts.

  1. Disengage the 8 guides and remove the rear console box assembly.



17. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX INSERT

  1. Disengage the 2 clips and 2 claws, and remove the console box insert.



18. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX LH (for LHD)

  1. Remove the bolt <A>.

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

  1. Using a clip remover, disengage the 3 clips.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and guide, and remove the console box LH.



19. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX RH (for RHD)

  1. Remove the bolt <A>.

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.

  1. Using a clip remover, disengage the 3 clips.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and guide, and remove the console box RH.



20. REMOVE TRANSMISSION INSTRUMENT PANEL SHIFT ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 3 nuts and separate the transmission instrument panel shift assembly.

  1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the transmission instrument panel shift assembly.
