HINT:
  1. Centering bolts are used to mount the door hinge to the vehicle body and door. The door cannot be adjusted with the centering bolts installed. Substitute the centering bolts with standard bolts (with washers) when making adjustments.
  2. Specified torque for standard bolts is shown in the standard bolt chart (Click here).



1. INSPECT BACK DOOR


  1. Check that the clearance measurements of areas *a through *l are within each standard range.

2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD

  1. Remove the rear No. 2 floor board.



3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX

  1. Remove the rear deck floor box.



4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD

  1. Remove the rear No. 3 floor board.



5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Disengage the 6 guides and remove the deck floor box RH.



6. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/o Woofer)

  1. Remove the rear No. 4 floor board.



7. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/ Woofer)

  1. Disengage the 2 clips and 3 guides, and remove the rear No. 4 floor board.



8. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Woofer)

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Disengage the 6 guides and remove the deck floor box LH.



9. REMOVE DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and guide (A).

  1. Disengage the 2 guides (B) and remove the deck trim service hole cover.



10. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER

  1. Disengage the 4 clips and remove the rear deck trim cover.



11. ADJUST BACK DOOR

  1. Before adjusting the upper end of the back door up and down or left and right, loosen the bolts.

  1. Tighten the body side hinge after the adjustment.

    Torque:
    19 N*m{ 194 kgf*cm , 14 ft.*lbf }

  1. Loosen the 3 bolts.

  1. Tighten the bolts after the adjustment.

    Torque:
    7.5 N*m{ 76 kgf*cm , 66 in.*lbf }



12. INSTALL REAR DECK TRIM COVER

  1. Engage the 4 clips to install the rear deck trim cover.



13. INSTALL DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

  1. Engage the 2 guides (B).

  1. Engage the 2 claws and guide (A) to install the deck trim service hole cover.



14. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Woofer)

  1. Engage the 6 guides.

  1. Install the deck floor box LH with the clip.



15. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/o Woofer)

  1. Install the rear No. 4 floor board.



16. INSTALL REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/ Woofer)

  1. Engage the 2 clips and 3 guides to install the rear No. 4 floor board.



17. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH

  1. Engage the 6 guides.

  1. Install the deck floor box RH with the clip.



18. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD

  1. Install the rear No. 3 floor board.



19. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX

  1. Install the rear deck floor box.



20. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD

  1. Install the rear No. 2 floor board.
