The power steering ECU assembly stores this DTC when it determines that the assist map is not written in the ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
If the steering column assembly or power steering ECU assembly has been replaced, perform rotation angle sensor value initialization and torque sensor zero point calibration (Click here).

1.PERFORM ASSIST MAP WRITING

  1. Perform assist map writing (Click here).

2.CHECK FOR DTC

  1. Check for DTCs (Click here).

    OK:
    DTC is not output.

3.CHECK FOR DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

  1. Check for DTCs (Click here).

    OK:
    DTC is not output.

    HINT:
    If a CAN communication system DTC is output, first troubleshoot the CAN communication system malfunction, then perform the assist map writing again (Click here).

4.CHECK FOR DTC (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM)

  1. Check for DTCs (Click here).

    OK:
    DTC is not output.

    HINT:
    If a hybrid control system DTC is output, first troubleshoot the hybrid control system, then perform assist map writing again (Click here).
