DESCRIPTION

  1. The display and navigation module display and map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) are connected to each other using the microphone connection detection signal lines.
  2. Using this circuit, the display and navigation module display sends power to the map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly), and the map light assembly sends microphone signals to the display and navigation module display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
  1. Disconnect the H60 display and navigation module display connector.

  1. Disconnect the T6 map light assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:

2.INSPECT DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY
  1. Reconnect the H60 display and navigation module display connector.

  1. Reconnect the T6 map light assembly connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage:

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

4.INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
  1. Reconnect the H60 display and navigation module display connector.

  1. Reconnect the T6 map light assembly connector.

  1. Turn the power switch on (ACC).

  1. Connect an oscilloscope to terminals 13 (MCO+) and 12 (MCO-) of the T6 map light assembly connector.

  1. Check the waveform of the telephone microphone assembly using the oscilloscope.

    Result:
    Result
    Proceed to
    A waveform synchronized with the voice input to the map light assembly is output.
