DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when terminal CSIF of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor has not received a signal for 5 seconds or more.

  2. Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration (Click here).

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR)
  1. Disconnect the H17 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

  1. Disconnect the H87 yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    H17-6 (GCS) - Body ground
    Always
    10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK


2.REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR
  1. Replace the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (Click here).

3.CHECK FOR DTC
  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Turn the power switch on (IG), then off.

  1. Set the theft deterrent system to "ARMED STATE".

  1. Check that the security indicator changes from illuminated to flashing.

  1. Set the theft deterrent system to "DISARMED STATE".

  1. Check for DTCs (Click here).

    OK:
    DTC B276A is not output.
