DTC    C1A41    Brake Request Value Mismatch between ENG / EHV and Driving Support ECU

DESCRIPTION

The brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) receives brake control request signals from the power management control ECU and driving support ECU.
When the request signals received from the power management control ECU and driving support ECU are not consistent, the brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) determines that a malfunction has occurred and sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU.
If the driving support ECU receives a malfunction signal, DTC C1A41 is stored.

While the power switch is on (IG), a brake request signal from the hybrid vehicle control ECU and driving support ECU are inconsistent for 1 second.

  3. Brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU)
  4. Power management control ECU
  5. Driving support ECU

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)

  1. Check DTCs for the electronically controlled brake system (Click here).

    OK:
    Electronically controlled brake system DTC is not output.



NG
GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM (Click here)
OK


2.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM)

  1. Check DTCs for the hybrid control system (Click here).

    OK:
    Hybrid control system DTC is not output.



NG
GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM (Click here)
OK


3.REPLACE BRAKE BOOSTER WITH MASTER CYLINDER

  1. Replace the brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) (Click here) (for LHD).

  1. Replace the brake booster with master cylinder (skid control ECU) (Click here) (for RHD).

4.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)

  1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash 2 / DTC.

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Check for DTCs.

    OK:
    DTC C1A41 is not output.

Go to step 5

5.REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU

  1. Replace the power management control ECU (Click here).

6.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)

  1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: Body / Pre-Crash 2 / DTC.

  1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Recheck for DTCs.

    OK:
    DTC C1A41 is not output.
