1. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  1. Open the overhead console.

  1. Disengage the 4 clips and 3 guides as shown in the illustration.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the map light assembly.



2. REMOVE GARAGE DOOR OPENER TRANSMITTER (w/o Sliding Roof)

  1. Peel the strip of the tape used to secure the wire harness only to the extent that allows removal of the garage door opener transmitter.

    HINT:
    Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the map light assembly so that the tape can be reused.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the 2 screws and garage door opener transmitter.



3. REMOVE GARAGE DOOR OPENER TRANSMITTER (w/ Sliding Roof)

  1. Disengage the clamp.

  1. Remove the 2 screws and garage door opener transmitter.
