FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) > DISASSEMBLY

1. Disconnect each connector.
   

2. Disengage each clamp under the front seat assembly.
   

3. Disengage the clamp.
   

4. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.
   

1. Remove the seat adjuster cover cap.
   

   HINT:

   Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
   

1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.
   

1. Remove the screw.
   

2. Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.
   

3. Disengage the claw and 2 guides, and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.
   

4. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
   

1. Separate the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.
   

2. Disengage the 8 claws and guide (1).
   

3. Disengage the clip and guide (2), and disconnect the front seat cushion shield.
   

4. Disengage the 2 claws and open the wire harness cover.

5. Remove the wire harness from the wire harness cover.
   

6. Disengage the 2 clamps.
   

7. w/o Seat Position Memory System:
   
   

   1. Disconnect the connector and remove the front seat cushion shield.
      

8. w/ Seat Position Memory System:
   
   

   1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the front seat cushion shield.
      

1. Remove the 3 screws and the front power seat switch.
   

1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lumbar switch.
   

1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front seat inner cushion shield.
   

1. Disengage the fastener and separate the side airbag wire harness.
   

2. w/ Seat Heater System:
   
   

   
   
   

   1. Disconnect the connector.
      

   2. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.
      

   
   
   

   3. Disconnect the connector.
      

   4. Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.
      

3. Disengage the 4 hooks.
   

4. Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.
   

1. Remove the 2 hog rings.
   

2. Remove the 21 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.
   

1. Disengage the 2 fasteners.
   

2. Remove the 5 hog rings.
   

3. Open the 2 fasteners.
   

4. Disengage the fastener.
   

5. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.
   

6. Remove the nut and disconnect the front seatback cover bracket.
   

7. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the seat frame.
   

1. Remove the 14 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.
   

1. Detach the 3 pieces of double-sided tape and remove the front seat cushion cover.

1. Detach the 4 pieces of double-sided tape and remove the front seatback cover.

1. Disengage the guide and remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover LH.
   

1. Disengage the guide and remove the upper reclining adjuster inside cover RH.
   

1. Remove the screw.
   

2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.
   

3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.
   

1. Remove the screw.
   

2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.
   

3. Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.
   

1. Remove the screw.
   

2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the lower reclining adjuster inside cover LH.
   

1. Remove the screw.
   

2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the lower reclining adjuster inside cover RH.
   

1. Separate the wire harness from the 2 hooks.
   

2. Disconnect the connector.
   

3. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw, nut and seat position airbag sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.
   

4. Remove the seat position airbag sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
   

1. Disconnect the connector.
   

2. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.
   

1. Disconnect the 5 connectors.
   

2. Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the front seat wire.
   

1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
   

2. Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the No. 2 front seat wire.
   

1. Remove the 4 bolts and the separate type front seatback spring assembly.
