1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE

  1. Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws.

    		Protective Tape

  1. Disengage the hook and remove the rear bumper piece.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.



2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  1. Put protective tape around the rear bumper assembly.

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 8 clips.

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Remove the screw.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  1. Disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  1. Disengage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration.

  1. w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System:

    1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the rear bumper assembly.
