CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE > INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

  1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it onto the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Do not twist the O-ring.

  1. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly with the bolt.

    Torque:
    10 N*m{ 102 kgf*cm , 7 ft.*lbf }

  1. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.



2. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK

  1. Put the engine in inspection mode (Click here).

  1. Start the engine.

  1. Check for engine oil leaks from the connected parts of the oil filter cap and oil filter drain plug.



3. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER


    A248095

  1. Engage the 3 clips to install the cover.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be sure to engage the clips securely.
    2. Do not apply excessive force or hit the cover to engage the clips. This may cause the cover to break.
