REAR DOOR COURTESY SWITCH > INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, install the rear door courtesy light switch assembly with the bolt.

    Torque:
    6.3 N*m{ 64 kgf*cm , 56 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the connector.



2. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH (for LH Side)

  1. Engage the 6 claws.

  1. Install the rear seat side garnish LH with the clip.



3. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH (for RH Side)

HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.



4. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE COVER RH (for RH Side)

  1. Engage the 3 claws and 2 clips to install the rear seat side cover RH.



5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

  1. Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the cabin.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  1. Install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    37 N*m{ 375 kgf*cm , 27 ft.*lbf }

  1. Engage the fastener to connect the rear No. 2 floor board sub-assembly.



6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

  1. Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  1. Install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    37 N*m{ 375 kgf*cm , 27 ft.*lbf }

  1. Engage the fastener to connect the rear No. 1 floor board sub-assembly.



7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

  1. Engage the claw to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook.

    NOTICE:
    Rear seat cushion lock hooks must not be reused.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure the LH side and RH side.



8. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

  1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  1. Pass the rear center seat outer belt assembly through the rear seat cushion assembly.

  1. Install the rear center seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }

  1. Engage the guide as shown in the illustration.



  1. Pass the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH and rear seat inner belt assembly through the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration.

  1. Engage the 2 hooks of the seat cushion to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

  1. Confirm that the seat cushion is firmly installed.

    NOTICE:
    When installing the seat cushion, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the seat cushion.



9. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

10. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  1. Engage the 4 claws, 2 guides and 2 clips to install the rear door scuff plate LH.
