1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT COVER

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 6 claws and remove the 2 rear light covers.

2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Disengage the pin and 3 guides and remove the rear combination light assembly.

  1. Turn the rear turn signal light bulb and rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, and remove them as a unit.

  1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the clamp.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear combination light lens and body.



3. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB
  1. Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.



4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE REAR UPPER BUMPER RETAINER

  1. Remove the screw and rear upper bumper retainer.



6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  1. Disengage the 4 claws, 2 guides and 2 clips, and remove the rear door scuff plate LH.



7. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP
  1. Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

  1. Remove the residual weatherstrip sealant from the body of the vehicle using cleaner.

    NOTICE:
    Remove the sealant completely. Any residual sealant may transfer to other areas of the vehicle when removing/installing the interior parts.



8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


  1. Disengage the hook of the seat cushion from the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame can be deformed easily.

    1. Choose a hook to disengage first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to disengage the hook.

    2. Repeat the step above for the other hook.

  1. Disengage the guide of the seat cushion from the seatback.

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear center seat outer belt assembly.

  1. Pull out the rear center seat outer belt assembly from the rear seat cushion assembly.

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.



9. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

  1. Disengage the claw and remove the rear seat cushion lock hook.

    NOTICE:
    Rear seat cushion lock hooks must not be reused.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure the LH side and RH side.



10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)
  1. Disengage the fastener and disconnect the rear No. 2 floor board sub-assembly.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and rear seatback assembly LH.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.



11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)
  1. Disengage the fastener and disconnect the rear No. 1 floor board sub-assembly.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and rear seatback assembly RH.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.



12. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD
  1. Remove the rear No. 2 floor board.



13. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX
  1. Remove the rear deck floor box.



14. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD
  1. Remove the rear No. 3 floor board.



15. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Disengage the 6 guides and remove the deck floor box RH.



16. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD UPPER NO. 3 PLATE (for RH Side)

  1. Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides, and remove the rear floor board upper No. 3 plate.



17. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/o Woofer)
  1. Remove the rear No. 4 floor board.



18. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 FLOOR BOARD (w/ Woofer)

  1. Disengage the 2 clips and 3 guides, and remove the rear No. 4 floor board.



19. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Woofer)

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Disengage the 6 guides and remove the deck floor box LH.



20. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)
  1. Remove the tonneau cover assembly.



21. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear No. 1 floor board sub-assembly.



22. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Disengage the claw and 2 clips, and remove the rear No. 2 floor board sub-assembly.



23. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD

  1. Remove the bolt.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear No. 1 floor board.



24. REMOVE DECK TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and guide (A).

  1. Disengage the 2 guides (B) and remove the deck trim service hole cover.



25. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER

  1. Disengage the 4 clips and remove the rear deck trim cover.



26. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE COVER RH (for RH Side)

  1. Disengage the 3 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear seat side cover RH.



27. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear seat side garnish LH.



28. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws.

  1. Remove the bolt and the rope hook assembly.



29. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY

30. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER HOOK

  1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and pin, and remove the tonneau cover hook.

31. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP

32. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

  1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 2 room light assembly.



33. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY
  1. Remove the 3 screws.



  1. Disengage the 4 claws and 3 clips, and remove the deck trim side panel assembly LH.

34. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp.

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Disengage the grommet and remove the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
