1. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  1. Remove the 2 screws <E>.

  1. Disengage the clip.

  1. Disengage the clamp.

  1. Disconnect each connector and remove the No. 1 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.



2. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  1. Remove the screw <E>.

  1. Disengage the 2 clips.

  1. Disengage the clamp.

  1. Disconnect each connector and remove the No. 1 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.



3. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

  1. Disconnect the front door opening trim weatherstrip.

  1. Remove the residual weatherstrip sealant from the body of the vehicle using cleaner.

    NOTICE:
    Remove the sealant completely. Any residual sealant may transfer to other areas of the vehicle when removing/installing the interior parts.



4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL

  1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws, clip and 4 guides, and remove the instrument side panel LH.



5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 8 claws and clip.

  1. Disconnect each connector and remove the lower instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.



6. REMOVE STOP LIGHT CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  1. Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the stop light control ECU assembly.



7. REMOVE STOP LIGHT CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  1. Using a clip remover, disengage the clamp.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the stop light control ECU assembly.
