Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (for exhaust heat recirculation system) connector.
Disconnect the combination meter assembly connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Reconnect the combination meter assembly connector.
Reconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (for exhaust heat recirculation system) connector.
