1. INSTALL MAIN BODY ECU (for LHD)

NOTICE:
  1. Make sure that no foreign matter gets on the connecting surfaces.
  2. Do not touch the ECU connector.

  1. Insert the main body ECU up to the position it contacts the housing sidewall of the guide as shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Make sure to keep the angle 20° or more as shown in the illustration.

  1. Slide the guide of the main body ECU along the housing sidewall so that it contacts the junction block fuses as shown in the illustration.

  1. While contacting the main body ECU to side A of the junction block (axis of rotation), rotate it downward as shown in the illustration.

  1. Press the push area until the claw engages to install the main body ECU.

    NOTICE:
    1. Make sure to press only the push area.
    2. Confirm the engagement of the main body ECU and junction block by listening for the lock sound.

    HINT:
    If a lock sound cannot be heard, visually check the lock part engagement. The engagement can also be confirmed if the main body ECU and junction block are flush.



2. INSTALL MAIN BODY ECU (for RHD)

NOTICE:
  1. Make sure that no foreign matter get on the connecting surfaces.
  2. Do not touch the ECU connector.

  1. Press the push area until the claw engages to install the main body ECU.

    NOTICE:
    1. Make sure to press only the push area.

3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  1. Engage the claw to install the connector as shown in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    Be sure to engage the connector securely.

  1. Engage the claw to lock the connector lock as shown in the illustration.

  1. Engage the claw to connect the connector as shown in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    Be sure to engage the connector securely.

  1. Engage the 2 clamps to connect the wire harness.

  1. Install the instrument panel junction block assembly with the bolt and nut.

    Torque:
    8.4 N*m{ 86 kgf*cm , 74 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect each connector.

    NOTICE:
    Be sure to engage each connector securely.



4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  1. Engage the claw to install the connector as shown in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    Be sure to engage the connector securely.

  1. Engage the claw to lock the connector lock as shown in the illustration.

  1. Engage the claw to connect the connector as shown in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    Be sure to engage the connector securely.

  1. Install the instrument panel junction block assembly with the bolt and nut.

    Torque:
    8.6 N*m{ 88 kgf*cm , 76 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect each connector.

    NOTICE:
    Be sure to engage each connector securely.



5. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX LH (for RHD)

  1. Install the ECU integration box LH with the nut and bolt.

  1. Engage the clamp to connect the wire harness.

  1. Connect each connector.
