DTC    B156B    Multi-media Interface ECU Disconnected

for Preparation Click here

DESCRIPTION

The navigation computer sub-assembly and multi-media interface ECU assembly are connected by the AVC-LAN communication line.
When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the navigation computer sub-assembly and multi-media interface ECU assembly, these DTCs will be stored.

DTC No.
DTC Detection Condition
Trouble Area
B156E
No response to the diagnostic memory request from the master unit.
  1. Multi-media interface ECU assembly power source circuit
  2. AVC-LAN circuit between navigation computer sub-assembly and multi-media interface ECU assembly
  3. Multi-media interface ECU assembly
  4. Navigation computer sub-assembly
B156B*1
A device that is listed in the AVC-LAN connected device record of the master unit is missing.

HINT:
  1. *1: Even if no fault is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the auxiliary battery condition or hybrid system start voltage.
  2. The navigation computer sub-assembly is the master unit.
