DESCRIPTION

The display signal*1 from the parking assist ECU is sent to the multi-display using a digital communication cable.
*1: Except DVD image signal for vehicles with DVD changer.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CABLE CONNECTOR

  1. Check digital communication cable connector

    1. Check if the digital communication cable connectors between the parking assist ECU and multi-display have any connection problems (Click here).

  1. Check that the screen display is normal.

    OK:
    Screen display is normal.

2.REPLACE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE WIRE

  1. Replace the multi-media module wire (Click here).

  1. Check that the screen display is normal.

    OK:
    Screen display is normal.

3.REPLACE WIRE HARNESS (DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CABLE)

  1. Replace the digital communication cable between the parking assist ECU and multi-media module wire.

  1. Check that the screen display is normal.

    OK:
    Screen display is normal.

4.REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY

  1. Replace the multi-display (Click here).

  1. Check that the screen display is normal.
