DESCRIPTION

The display signal*1 from the navigation computer sub-assembly is sent to the parking assist ECU using a digital communication cable.
*1: Except DVD image signal for vehicles with DVD changer.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CABLE CONNECTOR

  1. Check digital communication cable connector

    1. Check if the digital communication cable connectors between the navigation computer sub-assembly and the parking assist ECU have any connection problems (Click here).

  1. Check that the screen display is normal.

    OK:
    Screen display is normal.

2.REPLACE WIRE HARNESS (DIGITAL COMMUNICATION CABLE)

  1. Replace the digital communication cable between the navigation computer sub-assembly and the parking assist ECU.

  1. Check that the screen display is normal.

    OK:
    Screen display is normal.

3.REPLACE PARKING ASSIST ECU

  1. Replace the parking assist ECU (Click here).

  1. Check that the screen display is normal.

    OK:
    Screen display is normal.
