THEFT DETERRENT > GENERAL



OUTLINE
  1. The theft deterrent system can sound an alarm when any of the following activities are detected:

    1. The vehicle is being forcibly entered.
    2. The engine hood is being opened.
    3. Any door is being unlocked without the key.
    4. A battery terminal is disconnected and reconnected.
    5. Any moving object is detected in the interior.
    6. The pitch angle of the vehicle inclination is changed.*
    7. Open circuit is detected in print pattern type glass breakage sensor.*

  2. The system consists of door lock control system parts, entry and start system parts, intrusion sensor, tilt sensor (yawrate sensor)*, glass breakage sensor*, a theft warning siren assembly and a security indicator light.

  3. The system is controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
