1. CHECK HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the W23 connector.

  1. Connect the voltmeter's positive (+) lead to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2.

  1. Measure the voltage of the connector.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    W23-1 - W23-2
    		Brake pedal released
    		Below 1 V
    W23-1 - W23-2
    		Brake pedal depressed
    		10 to 14 V

    If the result is not as specified, replace the light assembly.
